To my darling Kaiha . . .

Honey I'd like to go to a time when you were 4 years old. I know it's long ago now, but I want to tell you about a morning we shared. It's my favorite memory of you.
We got up early, just you and me, and we made hot chocolate together. We sat on the porch in the new house, and we watched the sun come up. We were very quiet, and the humming birds came to the feeder. You got excited and squealed! Then you cried because they flew away.
Next we went inside and you let me run a bubble bath for you. I washed your hair and you wouldn't let me touch your face until I used the "rag puppet". She always convinced you to wash your face. Then I dried you off and we went to pick out your clothes for the day. You chose your light blue skirt with the pokadots on it, a long sleeve white top, white tights, and saddle shoes. You let me put a pontail in your hair, and a long blue ribbon.
We spent the rest of the morning talking . . . and all the while, you were spinning around making your skirt swirl out in a big circle.

You are my precious daughter. Nothing will ever change that.

I wish I knew where I got this beautiful flower tile. If anyone recognizes it, please let me know so I can give credit where it's due. Thankyou.
